Virterion pricing, decoded
Virterion's price list is refreshingly short: VPS in three regions, High CPU variants, dedicated servers, SSL certificates and domains. Short does not mean self-explanatory, though — here is what each tier is actually good for, and where the real monthly total lands once you decide about the control panel.
VPS plans
| Line | From | Region | Realistic use |
|---|---|---|---|
| NL Start | $6.00/mo | Netherlands (Tier 3) | Small site, blog, Telegram/Discord bot, staging |
| NJ Start | $6.00/mo | New Jersey, USA | Same workloads for a US/transatlantic audience |
| Bulgaria line | ~$6/mo | Bulgaria | Balkans, Eastern Europe, budget EU exit |
| High Start (High CPU) | $13.75/mo | NL | Busy PHP stores, builds, media-processing bots |
Evidence limitation: no reproducible first-hand benchmark, billing or support-response records were supplied for this update. Treat performance and service quality as unverified; test the selected plan and confirm renewal terms yourself.
The one cost people miss: the panel
Every VPS ships with ispmanager free for the first month. From month two the panel license is a paid add-on. That gives you exactly two sane setups:
| Setup | Extra monthly cost | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| SSH only (no panel) | $0 | Anyone comfortable with a terminal; nothing changes at month two |
| Keep ispmanager | Panel license fee | Agencies, WordPress shops, anyone who wants mail/sites/DBs in a GUI |
Decide during the free month, not after. The panel guide walks through what ispmanager actually does so you can judge whether it earns its fee for your workflow.
Domains and SSL
Virterion doubles as a registrar: .xyz from $2.58, .io around $50.81, mainstream TLDs in between, plus paid SSL certificates. Consolidating domain + DNS + server + certificate under one roof is genuinely convenient for small projects — one dashboard, one invoice, one support chat when something breaks. If you already keep domains at a dedicated registrar, there is no penalty for skipping this.
Dedicated servers
For workloads that outgrow a VPS, Virterion sells dedicated machines in the same regions. Pricing is configuration-dependent, so treat the site's listed configs as starting points and confirm via chat — which, in our experience, answers in minutes and does not hard-sell.
Total cost scenarios
| Scenario | Monthly total |
|---|---|
| Bot or small site, SSH-managed, NL Start | $6.00 |
| Small store, High CPU, SSH-managed | $13.75 |
| Agency site, NL Start + ispmanager license | $6.00 + panel fee |
| Store + domain (.xyz) + SSL | $13.75 + ~$0.22/mo domain + cert |
